Hideaway Beach has a private nine-hole executive golf course designed to challenge the everyday golfer, yet promote the native beauty of Florida. The golf course underwent a complete reconstruction during the summer of 2005.  The fairways and roughs are covered with certified 419 Bermuda grass; the tees are covered with certified Celebration Bermuda grass.  The greens are grassed with Tifeagle, a Bermuda grass ultra dwarf.  Hammocks of Florida Live Oak trees mixed with over 200 Sable and Coconut Palm trees drape the edges of the course, and a recently renovated half-way house is located between holes #4 and #5.

The course's uniqueness is best represented by double green holes #2 and #8, as well as the large Oak Tree directly in the middle of the fairway of the fourth hole.
